What anonymous browsing really does
Anonymous browsing lets you view profiles without revealing your identity to the people you view. The member whose profile you opened does not see that you opened it. Your account does not surface in their recommendations. You remain visible only to people you intentionally engage with - by liking, messaging, or replying.
Discreet mode layers on top. When it is active, your profile is excluded from discovery entirely: you will not appear in search results, carousel sections, or the daily recommendation list. You stay reachable only to members you have already started a conversation with.
Together, the two settings make a simple promise: your presence on the platform is never broadcast by us. If it is disclosed, it is by you.
